Can you spray uPVC windows?
Yes — and done properly it lasts. We use a two-pack uPVC paint that bonds into the surface of the frame rather than sitting on top of it. That’s why we guarantee it for ten years against peeling, cracking and flaking.
Painting uPVC windows this way happens at your property, on the frames you already have. Nothing is removed and there’s no building work — your windows open, close and seal exactly as they do now.
uPVC window painting works on white uPVC, woodgrain, faded frames, conservatory frames, doors and patio doors. The only thing that stops a job is uPVC cracked beyond repair — we’ll tell you straight if that’s what we find.

Spraying uPVC windows isn’t complicated, but it is exacting. Almost every failed spray job comes down to preparation being skipped.

- Masking and sprayingGlass, brickwork, sills, handles and hinges are masked off, then two-pack paint goes on by airless sprayer in thin, even coats. Touch dry in an hour, cured in 24.
- Finish, inspection and guaranteeMasking comes off and we walk the job with you. Anything not right, we put right before we leave. Guarantee paperwork follows by email.
Most homes are finished in two to three days, with no scaffolding and no windows taken out.
Frames only
Window frame spraying
If the frames are the problem rather than the whole window, we spray frames on their own — uPVC, plastic and aluminium frames, and the frames around conservatories and porches.
We spray paint window frames with the same paint, the same process and the same ten-year guarantee. Frame-only work is quicker and cheaper than a full elevation — the sensible option when the glass and hardware are fine but the white has yellowed.

The paint and finish we use
We don’t use off-the-shelf tins or aerosols. The paint is a two-pack industrial coating made for uPVC, mixed to your colour and applied with airless spray equipment. That’s what produces the even, factory-look finish a brush can’t.
You choose the sheen: matt, satin or gloss. Satin is the most popular on windows — it hides small imperfections in older frames.

Can you spray uPVC windows?
Yes. uPVC takes paint very well when it’s prepared properly and the right coating is used. We clean, degrease and abrade the frame first, then apply two-pack uPVC paint by airless spray — which is why we can guarantee it for ten years.
Can uPVC windows be painted?
They can — windows, frames and doors, including woodgrain and frames that have yellowed with age. Brushing rarely looks right; you get brush marks and an uneven sheen. Spraying gives the smooth, factory-style finish people are after.
Can I spray uPVC windows myself?
You can, and plenty of people do. What usually goes wrong is preparation — if frames aren’t cleaned, degreased and abraded properly, the paint fails within a year. Ordinary exterior paint and aerosols sit on the surface instead of bonding into it, and without proper spray equipment you’ll get brush marks or overspray on glass, brickwork and cars.
A DIY job also isn’t covered by our ten-year guarantee. If you’d still rather do it yourself, we sell the same two-pack uPVC paint we use on customers’ houses.
Is spraying uPVC windows worth it?
